Ongoing homicide investigation into suspicious death south of campus 

There is an ongoing homicide investigation after a suspicious death at 107 E Berry Street. There is no immediate threat to campus, according to an email from DePauw Police. Berry Street is near South Quad.

The 11:30 pm call of a “possible deceased person” to 911 Dispatch Tuesday night was for Melissa Attkinsson, age 44, according to a Facebook post from Greencastle Police. The police are investigating who could possibly be involved. 

Berry street has since reopened after it was temporarily closed this morning.
