1. Meet the DePauw Student Government Senate Members
Virtual “town halls” will be held for DePauw students of each class to meet their respective DePauw Student Government (DSG) senators.
First-years have the opportunity to meet their DSG senate members this evening, March 23, at 7 p.m.
Sophomores and Juniors have the opportunity to meet their DSG senate members on Wednesday, March 24 at 7 p.m.
Seniors have the opportunity to meet their DSG Senate Members on Thursday, March 25 at 7 p.m.

2. Theme Tuesday: Dress as Your Favorite DePauw Professor or Staff
Students who dress up as their favorite DePauw faculty or staff member have the chance to win the $100 prize for Theme Tuesday.
Students can enter their submission via their Instagram story and tagging @dpucampusactivites. Bonus points will be awarded for those who submit a side-by-side. Submissions need to be in by 9 p.m.
3. COVID-19 Debriefing for Week of March 22
COVID-19 Vaccine
DePauw University, in collaboration with Hendricks Regional Health, has received approval from the Indiana Department of Public Health to be an on-campus vaccine provider. More information about this will be shared as soon as possible.
Individuals aged 40 years or older are eligible for the vaccine and are encouraged to make an appointment through ourshot.in.gov.
Students who have been vaccinated should provide a copy of their completed vaccination card here. Employees who have been vaccinated and wish to share this information with the university can report their status here.
On-Campus Cases Update
The positivity rate for asymptomatic testing was 0.29% for the week of March 8. The positivity rate for asymptomatic testing was 0.17% for the week of March 15. Positivity rates only include asymptomatic testing and not close-contact testing.
All but one of the positive tests identified were traced to existing positive cases.
Drop-In Testing for This Week
DePauw will provide free antigen testing to any student this week in the Union Building Ballroom. Students have to provide their ID. Some students have been randomly selected to go in for asymptomatic testing and are required to make an appointment as instructed by the email sent on Monday from c19testing@depauw.edu.
Testing times are as follows:
- Tuesday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Wednesday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Thursday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Weekly Zoom Briefings
The mitigation team members hold a weekly briefing via Zoom every Wednesday at 4 p.m. Briefings are open to all students and employees who can join to learn more about COVID-19 on campus and ask questions.
