1. Remembering 9/11
Today marks the 19th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. It is a day to remember the 2,977 people who died on Sept. 11, 2001. The class of 2002 at DePauw University dedicated a memorial outside the Union Building to never forget those who lost their lives.
2. Weekend Events
Today, Friday, Sept. 11 is the deadline to change your student status between on-campus, commuter, and remote. To make this change contact covid19@depauw.edu.
On Sat, Sept. 12 at 10 p.m. there will be a food truck outside the UB. Due to the success of the last food truck, DePauw has requested 150 more servings for this weekend.
From 8 a.m.-12 p.m. every Saturday in downtown Greencastle is the farmers market. It goes until October 3 and is a great way to connect with the community while also getting fresh produce! It is located in the square at Franklin street and Indiana street.
3. 100 Community Members Selected for COVID-19 Surveillance Testing, Results Came Back Negative
On Wed, Sept 9 100 students, faculty, and staff were randomly selected for COVID-19 Surveillance Testing. These students were either living on campus or commuting to campus for class. Stevie Baker-Watson said in an email today that all results came back negative.
