Students use their words to express their opinions about the DePauw Dialogue:

“I think the day of dialogue was far more productive than last year,  I hope that the discussion doesn't stop here, and that it becomes actual action on campus.  It is on us to continue to educate ourselves and form relationships across our differences to create true inclusion and an ethics of care.” Madeline Piscetta

“The Day of Dialogue (DoD) helped wake people up; people think and reflect upon issues such as the difference between diversity and inclusion, their invisible privileges, and the ability to be obvious to privilege. The Dod is an excellent beginning to get these issues on people's minds, but we must converse about them in order for it to be significant and worthwhile.” Caesar Tobar-Acosta

"It Really opened our eyes to some social structures that are unequal that I never would have thought of" Joe Gallagher

"It was impressive to see almost the whole Depauw community come together on an important day like that" Alec Kaczkowski

"It was pretty well done and very engaging especially the first speaker who interacted with the crowd well" John Marwede

“The day of inclusion was much improved from lasts years day. I took a lot away from the breakout session. The people who ran the breakout sessions were knowledgeable and insightful. I really enjoyed the day” Maddy Burds

“I thought the keynote was much better than last year’s. In my opinion I think he got everyone ready and excited for the day and really stressed that it was okay to be nervous but to not let that get in the way of people participating in the day’s events or activities, instead for students to play to their strengths.” Grace Coburn

"To me, the Day of Dialogue for all who participated, I found the "Privilege of Oblivion" to be especially powerful. It was a great session to build upon the energy that was established in the morning by Revered Washington." Kereem Vidal
