John Kasich, former governor of Ohio and two-time presidential candidate, will be a guest speaker for the Timothy and Sharon Ubben Lecture Series, according to a press release from DePauw University. The event will take place on Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium. Kasich will speak on “Navigating These Partisan Times and Finding Your Personal Political Voice.”

Kasich ran for president in both 2000 and 2016 and it is currently rumored that he may run for president against Trump in 2020. USA Today reported that Kasich “is thinking ‘very seriously’ about another run for president in 2020.”

“After becoming the last Republican opponent of Donald Trump to leave the 2016 presidential contest, Kasich refused to throw his support behind Trump,” according to a press release from DePauw University.

Kasich recently finished his final term as Governor this January, and has signed with CNN as senior political commentator, according to an article from CNN.
