If you enjoy looking at artworks that hold rich and powerful meanings, this exhibition will make your eyes shine brighter than diamonds. In this art space, you will find all types of weaving techniques, both traditional and unconventional. While some artworks use familiar tapestry materials like cotton and wool, others are woven using fishing nets and shards of broken plates! Each piece has its narrative, but together, they weave a beautiful story about how far tapestry has come.
Take a break from your colorless and boring class notes; check out this exhibition to see all the vibrant colors, textures, and patterns that the art world has to offer.

Peeler Art Center, University Gallery (upper level)
Sometimes, all students need is a calm space to regain their energy. If you want a moment to clear your complicated thoughts and enjoy the simplicity of the world, come and see this lovely exhibition. The artworks presented here are produced using more traditional tools, such as ink and woodblock, which makes the space soothing.
Although the prints in this exhibition may look simple to some, they still hold deep significance to many people, especially to those like David Prosser ‘65, an alumnus who gifted DePauw many of the artworks in this exhibition. But because art can be up to the interpreter, don’t feel like you need to seek meaning and enjoy what is in front of you!
