A planning committee formed in September will appoint more students to establish the details behind DePauw’s 175th anniversary celebration. 

Potential White Paper topics: 

– Career Services white paper will be revisited to add the Alumni Relations and Alumni Committee, in order to broaden the scope of the committee to bridge a gap between students and alumni

– Working with Facilities Management to revisit allowing academic buildings to be available for all students 24 hours

– Addressing violence, sexual misconduct and safety on campus

Miscellaneous notes:

– Recognition of new organizations will take place at the Oct. 2 meeting.

– Elections for a new secretary, parliamentarian and sergeant-at-arms yielded the following winners:

 -Secretary: Annie Bowers

 -Parliamentarian: Roy Leaf

 -Sergeant-at-Arms: Isiah Miles
