The women's golf team competed in Wittenberg's tournament in Springfield, Ohio, on the weekend of Oct. 13. They finished second to Wittenberg out of 18 schools by five strokes. There were Eastern schools DePauw does not normally compete against. The team played well the first day, but due to the bad weather conditions, the girls were mentally distracted and lost focus. The women's team will start its spring season in February.
"Sam Stahler played as an individual and shot 82, 79," head coach Vince Lazar said. "It was her best tournament of her golf career."
