If you asked us a year ago, right around the time that we were hired as music directors, what variety of artists and bands would faithfully ship their EPs, singles, full-length and reissued albums to WGRE, our replies would have been drastically off. We’ve dutifully sorted through releases ranging from Primus & The Chocolate Factory with The Fungi Ensemble to the three-song Panamanian compilation “My Lesbian Friend.” Along the way, we’ve had the pleasure of stumbling upon some gems that have blared over our airwaves this school year.
